Del que fuese el relanzamiento de la página de Netscape como un portal social de noticias a imagen y semejanza de Digg, nace el ‘nuevo’ Propeller, que conserva las cuentas y hereda lo ya había sin apenas cambios en el interfaz pero con un nuevo dominio y anuncios de novedades futuras:

It will bring together the best of all worlds: a world class design team, an advanced website platform, and a host of new and interesting ways to enjoy social news.
Mientras tanto, Netscape redirecciona a un portal de AOL, aunque todo el resto de la página y servicios, como My.Netscape, siguen funcionando normalmente.
